CARF Accreditations and Licenses

CARF International (formerly Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) is a private, nonprofit organization that is financed by fees from accreditation surveys, workshops, and conferences; sales of publications; and grants from public entities.  CARF International accredits organizations in medical rehabilitation and other areas.  Centre for Neuro Skills has been accredited by CARF International for the following programs/services:  
 

  • Interdisciplinary Outpatient Rehabilitation Medical Rehabilitation Programs: Brain Injury Specialty Program (Adults, and Children and Adolescents)
  • Residential Rehabilitation Programs: Brain Injury Specialty Program (Adults)
  • Residential Rehabilitation Programs: Brain Injury Specialty Programs (Children and Adolescents - TX only)


Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services

The Centre for Neuro Skills CNS-Dallas residential programs are licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) as Assisted Living Facilities.


CA Department of Social Services (residential) and CA Department of Public Health

The Centre for Neuro Skills CNS-Bakersfield, CNS-Los Angeles and CNS-San Francisco residential programs are licensed by the California Department of Social Services as Adult Residential Facilities. All three rehabilitation clinic locations (BFL, LAX, SFO) are licensed by the California Department of Public Health as Rehabilitation Clinics.
