Erectile Dysfunction

Question: My boyfriend has a TBI and has a hard time sustaining an erection. I want to help him but don't know how. We have tried several pills and such, but it doesn't do what he would like it too.

Answer: Erectile dysfunction is not uncommon following TBI. Our suggestion would be that your boyfriend see a urologist to rule out an organic cause of his erectile dysfunction. Cognitive behavioral therapy may also be an option. Please let us know if you have other questions.
