Support and Security for Independent Living
When individuals with brain injury have regained a high level of functioning following post-acute
rehabilitation, they are often capable of living independently, but they may still require assistance
in carrying out certain daily responsibilities. The CNS
Assisted Community Living
Program is designed to nurture independence, while addressing the realities of each
individual's capabilities.
If the individual desires to stay in close proximity to a CNS facility, we help establish an
independent living situation for successful re-entry into our local community. If the individual
prefers to return to their home community, the treatment team at CNS coordinates and trains
high-quality local resources that can provide the necessary assistance and implement the CNS
philosophy for successful independent living.
Whatever the case, the CNS
Assisted Community Living Program provides support and
security while helping clients resume a productive, independent life.
