CNS Announces New National Director of Contracting

Bakersfield, Calif. (Oct. 12, 2021) - Centre for Neuro Skills (CNS), a premier provider of traumatic and acquired brain injury rehabilitation services, today announced the appointment of Nancy Hoffmann as its new national director of contracting.

“Nancy’s experience will be an asset to Centre for Neuro Skills as we strive to continually improve our patients’ health and satisfaction while implementing cost-effective programs and processes,” said Dr. Mark Ashley, founder and CEO of CNS. “As a provider of brain injury rehabilitative services, we need to constantly advocate for the best care for our patients. Nancy’s extensive background in managed healthcare will help our team achieve that.”

At CNS, Nancy is responsible for initiating, negotiating and executing payor contracts and agreements, as well as maintaining existing payor relationships and developing new opportunities to expand access to CNS for new pools of patients.

“Centre for Neuro Skills is recognized as a high-quality brain injury rehabilitation provider,” Hoffmann said. “I look forward to strategically developing relationships with payors and conveying the value that CNS can bring to them, which ultimately results in the best outcomes for patients.”

Nancy brings 30 years of experience in managed care, contracting, consulting and payor relations. She has worked at a variety of corporate, multi-system hospitals and health plan settings such as Johnson & Johnson, Select Medical, HS Technology, Gateway Health Plan, Humana, Inc. and Baptist Hospital East. Nancy graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in health education.
