Assisted Living Programs

Living in the community and returning to life's activities is often very challenging for many individuals who have suffered a brain injury. Centre for Neuro Skills© (CNS) understands that people respond best in a more natural and familiar environment that helps them maintain a sense of self-worth and accomplishment. CNS assisted living programs facilitate a rhythm of living in the home and community, which include activities that emphasize the highest possible quality of living for each individual.

Since 1981, CNS assisted living programs in California and Texas have offered community living in a suburban environment with nearby shopping and entertainment, including educational, spiritual and recreational resources. The residential settings are clean, spacious, and modern and include all the amenities of a typical home or apartment. We also encourage family contact and participation.

The programs are carried out in structured, safe and supervised environments tailored to fit each individual's need and required level of assistance, from minimal oversight to maximum supervision. CNS assisted living programs also specialize in working with those individuals who have behavioral challenges that might exclude them from many other community-based programs.
