Inspiring and emotive, these short films about our patients chronicle the path from injury to transformation at Centre for Neuro Skills. The power of our intensive therapy is exemplified in vignettes that tell the story of triumph over adversity. CNS’ multidisciplinary approach is powerful and effective, as seen in the progress patients achieve over time. Family recovery is deeply important to CNS, and our films also portray the support we offer, helping the patient’s sphere understand brain injury as they face new challenges and learn to adapt. A diverse spectrum of patients’ stories are reflected:
- A young man who returned to his love of soccer post injury
- The professional woman whose neurobehavioral deficits were severe at admission, yet by discharge she ran a 5k “Superhero” race with CNS therapists
