Programs

A core CNS belief is “Patients Don’t Plateau,” meaning that our clinical staff are focused on helping each patient realize their greatest level of capability, regardless of challenges, deficits, and injury. This philosophy is the foundation of our Inpatient and Outpatient programs. Each option has a fundamental goal – to help patients regain independence through community reintegration and learning life skills that foster self-sufficiency. The Long-term Care Programs focus on maintaining and/or improving skills acquired in the actue rehabilitation program.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs

CNS' Inpatient program includes a wide range of integrated therapies offered up to six hours a day, five days a week in our state-of-the-art clinics. Based on the type of program, patients either live in a nearby safe, secure CNS residence or in their own home, where they receive residential rehabilitation treatment by our trained Neuro Rehabilitation Specialists and are supervised 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Outpatient Rehabilitiation Programs

CNS' Outpatient program offers the same integrated therapies as the Inpatient option, but patients are in the clinic three to six hours a day, five days a week and live in their own home. Transportation to and from our clinic varies based based on clinic location.

Long-term Care Services

The impact of brain injury can change family and personal dynamics in many areas of a patient’s life. New practices and responsibilities can overwhelm a patient’s sphere of support, and these demands may require some type of care after patients return to life post injury. As compassionate caregivers, families sometimes need help as well, managing such realities as physical limitations, behavioral issues, and medical oversite. Centre for Neuro Skills recognizes these challenges and offers comprehensive care following rehabilitation. The Long Term Care program provides three options for assistance and ongoing help to patients and their loved ones.
