In celebration of National Stroke Awareness Month in May, we proudly share the inspirational story of CNS patient Gwen Jackson. Gwen’s life changed when the COVID-19 pandemic began. She experienced two strokes and a mild heart attack. Her cognitive abilities, physical mobility, vision, and mental health were severely impaired as a result. However, Gwen came to CNS Houston in March 2022 and has regained her independence and confidence.
