Where Leadership Meets Innovation: BIAA’s Neuro Rehab Summit Recap
The Brain Injury Association of America’s (BIAA) annual Neuro Rehab Leadership Summit, held on January 22-24, 2025, in Charleston, South Carolina, brought together executives and professionals in the field of neurorehabilitation to discuss the latest trends, best practices, and legislative opportunities.
Michael Reed, Associate Vice President of Operations at Centre for Neuro Skills (CNS), and Lindsay Ashley, CNS Chief Financial Officer, were two members of the Summit’s planning committee.
CNS founder Dr. Mark Ashley presented a session on “Navigating Coverage for Cognitive Rehabilitation: Current Challenges and Opportunities,” in which he shared his insights on the current trends and processes of insurance coverage in post-acute rehabilitation settings.
“The recent Neuro Rehab Leadership Summit was a great success, bringing together a diverse group of experts, including professionals from brain injury rehabilitation, legal experts, AI specialists, human resource leaders, and others committed to advancing business practices in the field,” said Michael, who served as chair of the planning committee.
CNS was proud to serve as a Silver Sponsor of the Summit, supporting conversations and raising awareness about advancing business practices in cognitive rehabilitation.
“I left this year's Neuro Rehab Leadership Summit feeling inspired and grateful, as the relevant, timely topics and flawless coordination highlighted the resilience and dedication of brain injury community leaders. It's truly a privilege to be part of such an engaging and forward-thinking group,” said Lindsay Ashley.
