I'm the CEO of Centre for Neuro Skills, and I've been at CNS for over twenty years, and I absolutely love my job.
We've been around since 1980, and we specialize in the treatment and recovery of traumatic brain injuries as well as acquired brain injuries, such as strokes.
We're constantly rethinking our approach to neurorehabilitation. We believe patients don't plateau when they're recovering after brain injury. When given the right treatment by the right specialists, we believe they can improve beyond their expectations.
Our focus at CNS is on the whole person, not just their brain injury. Every brain injury is unique, so each treatment plan is tailored specifically to the patient, and we have many different types of services and treatments to help them depending on where they are in their recovery journey.
Our ultimate goal is to get them back to the life they had before, whether the person is a daughter who needs to return to college and sports, or the dad who needs to return to work and provide for his family.
In fact, more than half of CNS patients go back to work after they've been discharged. That's huge. It's more than twice the rate of other rehab centers.
What sets CNS apart from other rehab centers is our dedicated staff. And yes, they have the extensive training, the clinical expertise, but what really matters is the compassion that they have for our patients. To be able to walk alongside our patients on their journey to recovery is what really truly matters. And when you couple compassion with the dedication, the expertise, with the patient needs, wonderful things happen.
If you or a loved one has experienced a brain injury, CNS is here to help. Our comprehensive programs are designed to maximize recovery and help patients return to meaningful, independent lives. Contact us today to learn more about our services and how we can support your journey to recovery.
